This weekend I took a Precious Metal Clay workshop from Virginia Causey. Oh my, what a fun class! Virginia is a not only an amazingly versatile artist, but a wonderfully fun person and seasoned teacher; So much fun that I'll take whatever class she is going to teach next at Pratt. She is also one of the jewelers in the 3X2 show, and will be awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award, by the Seattle Metals Guild this February. Congratulations Virginia!
Now, after playing with clay this weekend, I need to get back into my glass art. Hopefully sometime soon I'll be using PMC with my glass to create something fresh. Yeah its all about experimenting- however I think my crazy plan just might work!
