Today I heard what sounded like someone in the kitchen. Upon going downstairs, I found a sinister squirrel on the counter top trying to steal a whole loaf of bread.. Seriously, it had the bag clutched in her little paws until I surprised her. Then she ran out the back door past our cat. (Whom I'm sure was amused by the incident), however the cat did nothing as the squirrel blazed right past her to escape. Lesson of the day, we have some bold wildlife in our backyard including the family of possums living under the deck- I need to keep the back door closed or ill be cuddling up to a possum instead of a cat one night.
