This summer I took a trip to LA with the sole purpose to stand in the shadows of some amazing artwork.
Hit the Getty Villa, the Getty museum and the Broad. In a dream like state, I toured antiquities from the Villa, studied the brush strokes of Van Gogh, Monet and Franz von Stuck at the Getty museum.
Then, took a quick walk around the Broad. The Broad has more contemporary works by Lichtenstein, Warhol, and Koons. One of my favorite pieces was a completely unexpected painting by John Baldesssari, “Tips for artists Who Want To Sell”. Totally hilarious!
